Surrounded by towering pines, fresh wind and bluest of skies you will find, lies the Big Bear Lake. Famous for its year round events, Big Bear Lake is bringing you the ultimate festival this October called the Big Bear fest.

Big Bear Fest is born from a German tradition. Of course you will see Beer Stein carrying contest. You can also see some record breaking performances. Last year one female contestant broke the German record. There will be no shortage of gifts, games, foods and yodeling. You will not get a chance to get bored. Always something happening.

In the October fest hall you can sit and enjoy your polka while listening to the lovely tune of German brass. You will see the Big Bear Women, who are the local beauties wearing the dirndl dresses and moving quickly across the floor in dancing mode. This festival attracts people from mountain areas as well as the flat lands. There is something for everyone. This is a complete family event where people can enjoy the fun under the beautiful stars of fall with their entire family.
