History
Bethany University was found in the year 1919 and was conducted by Robert Craig and Mary Craig. The institution was originally named as Glad Tidings Bible Institute. The university was the official leader of programs of the Assemblies of the God in Nevada and northern California since 1947. In the year 1950 the institution shifted back to its original location at Scott’s Valley. It was in 1966 that the institution got accreditation as the Senior Commission of the Western association of Schools and Colleges.
It was also called Bethany Bible College and Bethany College.
